So what are you doing for Thanksgiving?!
I’ve been toying with the idea of just going out, but then we won’t have any leftovers, so that’s kind of not even an option. (Mostly because Thomas & I have been talking about making a Thanksgivng pizza with leftovers all year!) But I’ve been super busy, and haven’t really given it much of a thought. Last year we spent all of Thanksgiving day driving through Texas on our way from Florida to Seattle, so we probably should do something. Especially since Thomas’ sister just moved here last week!
I should probably add that I did end up doing a make-up Thanksgiving in December last year, but I really don’t have any excuse now. We’re all settled in the new apartment and really I just need to decide on what recipes and make a grocery list.
My menu will probably end up being somewhat similar to my 2011 contributions, which was Tofurky/Field Roast, roasted veggies (maple glazed brussel sprouts?), some kind of potato dish and/or a sweet potato casserole, cornbread, pumpkin pies and I’ll need to make some stuffing (probably a double batch!), which thankfully my parents had veganized for me previously, and that I’d already worked out the recipe for.
