So it seems to be brown rice night in the house. I made my spiced brown rice with caramelized onions and lentils for dinner and am currently working on some vegan rice pudding as I type this to you. The dish had 3 different types of lentils this evening. Brown, green, and pink. The pink lentils mushed right in, as they’re apt to do, giving it a much moister texture. I used water instead of broth, so I used a little more salt too. I went with a pinch of garam masala this time too, since it’s now part of my pantry arsenal. The rice pudding recipe should be up soon!
