I take requests and yesterday was for Gardein double patty melts. I was out of mayo, so I couldn’t make the yummy chipotle thousand island dressing for them that I did last time, but they tasted great with ketchup, mustard and pickle relish!
I cooked the patties for about 10 minutes on medium heat in a skillet with no additional oil (they’re a bit on the greasy side as is), flipping halfway. Lightly toasted the bread and then broiled some Daiya Pepperjack onto both slices for each sandwich. YUM, and at 17g of protein per patty, these babies on some sprouted grain bread packed a big protein punch!
